 Phillipe fights alongside of Team Insight. These fighters come from a
variety of backgrounds but have one thing in common. "Honor." Team Insight
is the not the average MMA fight camp. It's roots came from traditional
arts that of which respect and discipline are as important as technique.
Brazilian Jiu- Jitsu black belts, Judo black belts, high level kick
boxers, and wrestlers converge to train and forge the heart of
the team.

 The camp consist of up and coming professional mixed art fighter like Nardu Debrah (www.budobjj.com), John Beneduce, and Dave Branch. Other talented Martial Artists include Louis Levine, Adrian Anthony, Tyronn Credle, Abel Ayala, Chinua Lawrence, Vaughn Mitchell, Andrew Johnson, and Brandon Bennett. The lead coaches are Sifu Ralph Mitchell and Clarence "Cee" Everett.

things; Beyond what happens on the mat. We sacrifice each others
bodies so we can be victorious in the ring. If it wasn't for my team
I wouldn't be the person I am today. You can only rise to the level of
your training!"

To have insight is to have knowledge beyond the surface. With insight
comes along
an acute perception of things. In the case of fighting, having
insight of your enemy would only gain victory for you.
Insight will permit you to cover all possibilities before they occur. Nothing can
surprise you and you will always be prepared. This is the meaning of
insight.
I started training under Sifu Ralph Mitchell since age 9 at Universal Defense Systems (UDS). He raised me from boyhood to manhood and even further into warriorhood. Not all students can say that about there martial arts teachers. I am extremely lucky to have a teacher like him. He brings out the best of me and helped me grow as a fighter. Ralph is well versed in the martial art field with over 40 years of training and teaching under his belt. He teaches in Brooklyn New York.
