Nover Drops a Close Fight

Phillipe Nover came out on the losing end of a very, very close fight against Rob Emerson at UFC 109. It was simply one of those fights that could have gone either way and someone had to lose. While it was a disheartening loss for Phillipe he certainly proved himself to be a talented fighter that belongs in the UFC and can be a danger to anyone he faces. Nover will be back, for sure!

Nover Let Down at UFC 98!

Phillipe Nover fell victim to poor officiating this Satuday at UFC 98 when the normally reliable Yves Lavigne stopped the fight early in the first round. Nover and Kyle Bradley started cautiously before clinching and trading blows that put Nover on the canvas. Phillipe recovered immediately but referee Lavigne failed to notice and ended the bout at the one minute mark. The crowd reacted with boos and Nover was left to deal with an unfortunate loss.

It was an exciting battle that saw Phillipe struggle with Escudero's wrestling skills for the first two rounds before finding his rhythm in the third. Nover quickly grabbed George Roop's left arm and didn't let go, eventually securing a shoulder lock that forced Roop to tap. Nover is impressing everyone and is the favorite to win in the finale!

Nover Dominates on The Ultimate Fighter

Phillipe Nover completely dominated his over matched and overwhelmed opponent on last night's episode of The Ultimate Fighter. It didn't take long as Nover outclassed Dave Kaplan with punches and kicks, dropping Kaplan to the mat where Phillipe pounced eventually sinking in a choke. Phillipe looked amazing and has made his case for being The Ultimate Figher!
